AIoTHub (formerly IoT North) Community meetup are pleased to present Cedric Levy-Bencheton and Rayna Stamboliyska in "EU Cyber Resilience Act for IoT"

Abstract:
The European Union's Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) is set to fundamentally reshape how manufacturers, importers, and distributors handle the security of connected IoT hardware and software. The EU CRA is mandatory for all products sold on the European market.

This 30-minute session provides a concise, high-impact overview of the CRA, focusing on the mandatory requirements and strategic steps necessary for timely compliance. Two leading specialists on the topic, Cetome and RS Strategy, will provide insight to simplify CRA compliance.
We will demystify the scope of the CRA, clearly defining what constitutes a "product with digital elements" (PDEs) and the categorization of different products.
The presentation will detail the essential security requirements, including implementing security-by-design principles, ensuring continuous vulnerability handling, and providing transparent security documentation throughout the product lifecycle.
This session is designed for cybersecurity executives, compliance officers, product managers, developers and development leaders who need a practical, actionable roadmap to navigate the new era of mandated digital security.
