What we’re about
We are a group of runners with members ranging from beginner runners to those who have been running for years. Nothing like knowing others are waiting for you to make sure you go out and run! We are not competitive, regardless of pace (we have some very fast runners in the group, and very slow runners, and even if you can't run the whole thing, and need a walk break, it's ok). We always welcome new faces!
Our runs are always by time, not distance, so that we can all begin and end together.
This is a good group for runners who want a laid back environment to meet new friends, keep them motivated to run, and have company when training for a race.
We also participate in many local races. We have trained together for the Shamrock Half Marathon, National Half, Cherry Blossom Ten Miler, VA Beach Rock n Roll Half Marathon, Army Ten Miler, Chicago Marathon and the Marine Corps Marathon.
We will also train together for this year's races!
Of course, you don't have to be running a race to join our training runs -- we just need the company to keep us motivated to start and finish each time!
The vast majority of the runs are in the Arlington area. Sometimes we grab a snack or coffee on those weekend morning runs and plan a happy hour and occasional social events about once a month.
Make sure to post a picture so we know who you are!

Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application for membership, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release the club, their officers, organizers, representatives, successors, and sponsors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in these club activities even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness, or gross negligence or any other actions or omissions on the part of the club, their officers, organizers, representatives, successors, and sponsors or other persons named in this waiver.”
