Hello, we're It's a Date - a London-based speed dating and singles events company. We’re professional icebreakers; reviving London’s dating scene with feel-good events, in awesome venues, with fun and charismatic hosts.
Personal experience and our single friends have taught us that there’s no one-size-fits-all approach to finding love. It’s why we set to work redesigning dating events, creating opportunities for you to express yourself authentically and meet like-minded singles.

Minutes from King’s Cross and St Pancras, Drake & Morgan is a stylish, two-floor bar buzzing with 140 cosmopolitan guests—perfect for meeting new people. With a FREE drink included, everything’s set for an unforgettable evening.
This event will welcome over 140 guests, aged 40 to 65, for a chance to mix, mingle, and make new connections in a private area reserved exclusively for It’s a Date. Expect a super-fun, relaxed, and informal evening, full of new faces and plenty of opportunities to socialise with other outgoing single Londoners. And for anyone with itchy dancing feet, there’s a resident DJ playing the basement bar until late!
Our host will be at the venue, ready to welcome you at 19:30. They’ll be easy to spot with a big smile, but if you’re unsure, just ask one of the friendly bar team. Your host will guide you to the area reserved exclusively for our event, offer you an optional name sticker, and direct you to where you can leave your jacket. Plus, guests who arrive before 20:00 will receive a complimentary drink – a great reason to show up on time! Once you’re settled in, your host will introduce you to other guests and make sure everyone gets a chance to meet as many people as possible.
Our singles parties are casual and informal, offering a fantastic opportunity to meet and network with lovely single Londoners in a relaxed, fun environment. Your host will be there from start to finish, ensuring you meet everyone and making special introductions upon request. With over 140 guests, there’s plenty of time to make new connections, enjoy a couple of drinks, and soak up the great atmosphere!
After the evening concludes, you can access the event listing in your dashboard to enter feedback on those you have met and await your matches. A match is struck when two guests reciprocate identical feedback, indicating mutual intent to reconnect and enabling messaging via our online platform.

Draughts is a super-fun concept bar located in the iconic Leake Street Graffiti tunnel just steps away from Waterloo Station. This unique games-themed event is hosted in a private area of the venue – The Loft, with a contemporary vibe, beautifully exposed brickwork, and our own private bar.
This is a doubles speed dating event, so be prepared to get to know other single people in an entertaining and interactive way as you move between tables playing new and nostalgic games in groups of four. Designed for social singles booking individually or with friends, you will be welcomed by our host at 19:15 and have the chance to grab a drink from the bar before we begin.
Ladies will be paired and seated comfortably on tables with various board games. These are selected to be short in duration (approximately 12-minutes) and great for helping you break the ice as you get to know your fellow players. Gents will be invited to rotate around the tables in pairs, playing a variety of entertaining games, having no shortage of laughs along the way.
There will be a half-time comfort break and lots of opportunity to mingle with others in this informal yet lively setting.
Post-event matching will be available on your It’s a Date dashboard where you could find you’re on a winning streak in love as well as in Jenga!
