âš Experience the True Taste of Japanese Sake âš
Did you know that âNamaâ (unpasteurized) sake can only be enjoyed in Japan?
All sake distributed overseas is pasteurized, which means its original fresh aroma and deep umami flavor are lost.
If youâre living in Japan, it would be such a waste not to experience this rare opportunity to taste authentic, fresh Japanese sake that canât be found anywhere elseâïž
For this special night, a Japanese Sake Master, who grew up in the U.S. and is deeply knowledgeable about a wide range of sake, will carefully select her top recommendations.
During the event, youâll not only drink, but also learn about:
ð¶ Tips on how to enjoy sake properly
ð¶ The unique stories and characteristics of each brewery
ð¶ A genuine experience that canât be found outside of Japan
Through this guided tasting, youâll be introduced to the fascinating world of Japanese sake and discover its depth and beautyâš
Youâll experience:
ã»New ways to appreciate sake
ã»The differences in flavor and personality between breweries
ã»A luxurious experience that can only happen âhere and nowâ
Whether youâre a beginner or a sake enthusiast, everyone is welcome.
Letâs share this one-of-a-kind evening that can only happen in Japan togetherðž
Iâll provide âKeichoâ in this event.
I got âKeichoâ is an extremely rare style of sake inspired by brewing methods from Japanâs early 17th century, a period known as the Keicho era. Unlike most modern sake, it is not produced regularly or in large volumes. Production is very limited, sometimes only in special years, and distribution is restricted to select events or locations. Because of this, even people living in Japan may never encounter it. Drinking Keicho is considered a unique opportunity to experience not only sake, but also a historical interpretation of how sake may have tasted hundreds of years ago. Its rarity comes from both its limited production and its strong connection to Japanese history.
