Autumn is deepening, and it's the season for fall foliage. In this event, we will visit iconic autumn tourist spots:Kinkaku-ji(the Golden Pavilion), Oubai-in at Daitoku-ji, and Imamiya Shrine to see the autumn leaves. The breathtaking sceneries created by the autumn leaves and Japanese gardens are a must-see.

◆Kinkaku-ji(the Golden Pavilion)
In Kyoto, There are a lot of beautiful gardens that captivate visitors from around the world. However, standing out as a true masterpiece among them is the Kinkaku-ji temple, commonly known as the Golden Pavilion.
Kinkaku-ji is Zen temple in northern Kyoto city whose structure is the three-story building covered in gold leaf and a golden phoenix is on the top.

◆Zuiho-in is a sub-temple of Daitoku-ji Temple in Kyoto. Its main highlight is the karesansui (dry landscape garden) designed by the renowned Showa-era landscape architect Mirei Shigemori. The garden is famous for the dynamic rock arrangement of the "Dokuza-tei" (Garden of Solitary Sitting) and the "hidden cross" stone layout within the "Kanmin-tei" (Garden of Quiet Sleep). The Hojo (main hall) and gates are designated as Important Cultural Properties.

◆Imamiya Shrine
Imamiya Shrine, with a history spanning a thousand years, is renowned for its role in prayers for health and recovery. Located in Kyoto's northwestern region, the shrine is celebrated for the Yasurai Festival in April, the Imamiya Festival in May, and a unique stone believed to predict the fulfillment of wishes.

◆金閣寺
京都には、世界中から訪れる人々を魅了する美しい庭園が数多くあります。 しかし、その中でも真の傑作として際立っているのが、金閣寺です。
金閣寺は、して有名な京都市北部の禅寺で、金箔で覆われた三重の建物とその頂上に金色の鳳凰が描かれています。

◆瑞峯院（ずいほういん）は、京都・大徳寺の塔頭の一つ。キリシタン大名・大友宗麟が創建した菩提寺です。最大の見どころは、昭和の名作庭家・重森三玲（しげもりみれい）が手掛けた枯山水庭園。「独坐庭（どくざてい）」の荒々しい石組や、「閑眠庭（かんみんてい）」に隠された十字架（クロス）の石組が有名です。方丈や門は重要文化財に指定されています。

◆今宮神社
千年の歴史を誇る今宮神社は、健康と病気平癒の祈願で有名です。 京都の北西部に位置するこの神社では、4 月のやすらい祭、5 月の今宮祭が行われ、願いが成就するというユニークな石が祀られています。
