Mt. Matsuo near Arashiyama (Around Kyoto: the Final part)

We walk from Arashiyama station to Kita Katsura station crossing Matsuo mountains. It's the easiest part of this 10-part course. It should be a good opportunity to see some fall leaves.

The meeting spot is outside of Hankyu Arashiyama Station at 09.45.

We finish at Kami Katsura Station.

Bicycle parking and convenience store
There is paid bicycle parking at the meeting point. Also, there is a convenience store.

Guests
You are welcome to bring a guest. Signing up as one person is ok. ;)

The route
We go over Matsuo mountains and walk for about 3 hours. Elevation is roughly 500 meters.

This is the tenth, and final, part of the 'around Kyoto in about ten days` event series. You can join one, two or come along for the whole trip.

It's likely that last minute messages through line, what's app or meetup chat are not read. (up to 30 minutes before leaving time).
This is because I'm talking to other members.

Your safety and wellbeing is the most important. We start and come back as a group. We go at the pace of the slowest walker.

500 Yen
Participation is 500 yen. Please pay in cash upon arrival.

What to wear?
Please wear closed shoes. Sneakers are fine for this hike. Dress lightly and comfortably. Wear a backpack. NO hand- or shoulder bags.

What to bring?
Bring plenty of water, snacks and a packed lunch.
