MANDORCAI'S MYSTERIOUS MANSION
A horror-themed adventure for characters of 4th level.

Pursued through the winding alleys of Baldur’s Gate, your only hope of escape lies in an overgrown lot at the edge of Bloomridge. There, shrouded in ivy and gloom, looms a forgotten estate—its iron gates rusted, its windows long since boarded shut. Faded lettering barely visible beneath layers of grime reads: Mandorcai.

Locals say the place is haunted. City officials pretend it doesn't exist. What better place to hide… at least until sundown.

As the first rays of light begin to peak over the horizon, your pursuers shout from the labyrinth of streets behind you—still distant, but drawing closer. You've managed to stay ahead of them for now, but you can't run forever. Best get off the streets before dawn.

CHARACTER CREATION
This is a D&D 5e adventure for 4th-level characters, using the 2024 Player’s Handbook rules with full backward compatibility. That means: if a rule or feature appears in the 2024 PHB, use that version. If it doesn't, default to the most recent official printed version. Homebrew content is not allowed for this adventure.

All official humanoid species are allowed, with the exception of warforged. Use Point Buy for ability scores. Likewise, all official classes and subclasses are permitted. For equipment, please stick to starting equipment only or whatever you can purchase from the PHB with the starting gold from your Background and Class.

Pre-generated characters will be available for anyone who doesn’t create own.

Content sharing is enabled, giving you access to all published material for character creation. If you want a pre-generated character, you will see them listed at the bottom of the Campaign page.
