2nd Group Anniversary Sunset Beachwalk + Walk-in Dinner

The Itinerary

Join us for a leisurely beach walk starting at 6:00pm, as we watch the sunset just after 7:00pm. We'll walk for about 75 minutes.

Bring an extra layer if it's breezy and athletic footwear that might get sandy!

Afterwards, we'll regroup at Mellow Mushroom - or another nearby restaurant - for an optional walk-in dinner, about 5 minutes on foot from our starting point.

The Nickel Tour

Touted as one of North Florida's best kept secrets, Jacksonville Beach's sweeping views, white sand beaches, and impressive dunes beckon area denizens to one of the most attractive coastlines in the country. Just moderately developed, there's still enough natural views and beauty in sight, while offering convenient dining, shopping, and amenities to both locals and tourists alike.

Nighttime at Jax Beach is especially serene, and with the right weather, the sunsets can be postcard perfect!

The Skinny

1. Location - 9th Avenue North Beach Access Parking
2. Parking - Free at 7th, 8th, or 9th Avenue lots. Paid at Jax Beach parking lot (about 5-6 minutes walk to Meetup location).
3. Bathrooms - Jax Beach parking has public restrooms. See also nearby bars, restaurants, and gas stations.
4. Shoes - Bring athletic footwear that might get wet and sandy.
5. Bottled Water & First Aid - Will be available during the walk.
