Welcome to the Jakarta Social Meet Up Group. We're all on the lookout for good times and new friendships because, let's face it, humans are social creatures! Whether you have a few friends and want to expand your social circle or simply crave more connections, why not join our group?
Our goal is simple: we want to bring together anyone in Jakarta who's eager to make new friends while trying out new and fun activities at the same time.
Each event promises to be a unique experience! From park walks to bowling, language exchanges to day tips, there's something for everyone. The best part?
No specific skills are required for any of the activities — we're all about trying new things, having fun and being sociable.
Our meet-ups are typically be scheduled every week in and around Jakarta, lasting around two or three hours. We'll do our best to keep things centrally located for everyone's convenience.
The group is completely free! Any costs associated with activities will be paid directly to the respective companies or venues hosting the events.
In this group, your input and ideas are always encouraged. If some activities prove to be a hit, we'll gladly arrange them again. We're open to your suggestions because this group is all about creating enjoyable experiences together.
Here are the two main rules for the group to help keep the group vibrant:
Active participation is key. If you’re unable to attend events or engage occasionally, please consider whether this group is the right fit for you.
Kalau kamu merasa tidak sanggup untuk datang ke event-event atau berpartisipasi berkala waktu, mohon pertimbangkan untuk meninggalkan grup.
Be reliable. Confirmed no-shows will be removed to respect everyone's time and efforts.

Welcome to our Thursday Karaoke Night Meetup
We're thrilled to have you join us for an evening of fun, laughter, and amazing performances. Whether you're a seasoned singer or just here to enjoy the atmosphere, this is the perfect opportunity to let loose, meet new friends, and sing your heart out. So grab a drink, pick your favorite song, and get ready to make some unforgettable memories.
Here's the lowdown:
- This meet-up will take place on Thursday 29th of May at 19:00. Please be on time.
- We will meet at Happup, which is on the third floor of Kuningan City Mall next to the cinema.
- We will split the bill evenly for the Karaoke, and you pay extra for any food or beverage.
- Try to come up with a list of five or more songs you would like to sing. This helps get things started!

- Saturday Afternoon GBK Park Walk and Talk + Lucy in the Sky Dinner and DrinksPintu 6 Gelora Bung Karno, Kota Jakarta Selatan
Let's escape the hustle and bustle of Jakarta with a late afternoon stroll through Senayan GBK Park and make some new friends along the way!
Senayan GBK Park is located in the heart of the city and is a nice place to visit and explore. Starting from Entrance 6 (Pintu 6), we will walk to Hutan Kota, around the main stadium, and then over to Senayan Park Complex.
Afterwards, we'll go to Lucy in the Sky at Spark, located on the rooftop of Senyan Park Mall for some refreshing drinks and food. This last part is optional for people who want to go.
The walk will be a casual stroll around several connecting parks. The walk will take approximately 1:30 hours.
We will meet just inside Entrance 6 at the first seat on the left (Pintu 6 Gelora Bung Karno) at 4 p.m. GBK's Entrance 6 is the park's entry point closest to the Halte Busway GBK pedestrian bridge (JPO).
Please be on time, as once we start the walk it will be very difficult to locate us. However, we will post the live location on the WhatsApp Group chat.
This is a fun and social event, and everyone is encouraged to get to know each other and make new friends.

After the event, we might head over to Headquarters to play a few games of pool to end the night.
Here's the lowdown:
- This meet-up will take place on Saturday 7th of June from 19:00 until late. Feel free to come anytime.
- A long table is booked under the Jakarta Social name.
- Pay as you go or put a bill under your name
- Don't worry if you're sober - they have non-alcoholic options too.
- Come alone or with friends - all are welcome! The more the merrier!
- No cover charge, no minimum spend.
