Hello & Konnichiwa! This is a group for anyone interested in Japanese Language & Culture. Everyone is welcome! 日本人も大歓迎です!(日本語は下にあります)
(1)Language Exchange "NIHON-MURA";
-Safe, as it is held at Japanese Language School (JAPANEASY)
-Easy to access, as it is located Melbourne CBD
-Help improve your language skill, as all attendances are learning languages eagerly
-Fair, as we exchange Japanese time & English time every 15 minutes
-Easy to find friends (Go and drink together after the meetup if you like, it is Friday night!)
-Helpful, as there is at least one supervisor if you need help or have questions.

(Near Paramount building in China town)
Fee: $5 (including Japanese tea and snacks)
No need to book, please just walk in.
(2)Culture workshops "BUNKA-MURA";
Every month we introduce a variety of Japanese Culture such as Calligraphy, Tea ceremony, Kimono, Okinawa-sanshin, Japanese Bamboo Flute SHINOBUE,
Art and Craft and so on. All levels are welcome. Please keep your eyes on our update or JAPANEASY website.
(3)Choir Group
Love singing? We have an international group who enjoys singing Japanese songs together. A variety of Nationalities and ages are having fun in a relaxing atmosphere. Free to join! Trial is welcome, too.

https://japaneasy.com.au/workshops/kakejiku/Join us for a special hands-on workshop where you can experience the art of Shodo—Japanese calligraphy—and create your very own Kakejiku (hanging scroll)!
In this 75-minute session, you’ll learn the basics of Japanese calligraphy, including a brief history, how to use traditional tools, and practice brush techniques. Then, choose your favorite kanji or meaningful word, and write it on a beautiful scroll to take home as a unique piece of art.
What to Expect:
Introduction to the workshop
Learn about the tools and a bit of history
Choose your word or kanji to write
Practice with brush and ink
Final writing on Kakejiku (the main piece!)
Add your name and a hanko stamp
Let it dry and take your masterpiece homeMaximum Participants: 6 people
