For more details about the class,
"Japanese Holistic Yoga" is an original yoga practice based on Zen principles, developed by Maiko from 20 years of experience.
With special breathing techniques, we circulate fresh air through the body, calm the mind with Zazen meditation, and heal the body through stretching. This yoga emphasizes harmonizing with nature and cherishing Japanese traditions, helping you regain balance in both body and mind.
The flow of Japanese Holistic Yoga is as follows:
Breathing Techniques (Pranayama):
Utilize multiple breathing patterns to circulate fresh air in the body and adjust the energy of the mind and body.
Zen Meditation (Zazen):
Sit in a meditative posture, calm the mind, focus on the "now," and pursue inner peace. *If sitting in Zazen is difficult, bring extra towels for support.
Stretching and Poses (Asanas):
Combine traditional yoga poses with stretches influenced by Japanese martial arts to enhance flexibility and strength.
Harmony with Nature:
Perform yoga outdoors to feel a sense of unity with the grand nature.
Mindfulness:
By regularly continuing steps 1-4, reduce daily stress and maintain a peaceful mind.
Japanese Holistic Yoga is not just an exercise, but a lifestyle that pursues physical and mental health and happiness.
We look forward to your participation.
