* Bike through 5 Parks, Tour Port Salerno, and View Galapagos Tortoises *

Let’s meet at 8:15am at the Peck Lake Park. After introductions, we'll leave at 8:30am and head north through the biking/walking path in Seabranch Preserve State Park. From there we’ll continue north toward Cove Road Park, Twin Rivers’ Park, Maggie’s Hammock, and of course the tortoises. Feel free to bring food to feed the tortoises from the menu in the pics below. We swing by Port Salerno, which has a number of popular waterfront restaurants which folks can stay at or return to for lunch after we finish the ride.

The details: Ride will be 20 miles at a speed of ~12 mph. However, we will make numerous stops….one will even have a restroom. :) We will be riding mostly on sidewalks (some uneven), paved bike paths, some quiet road. Brief portions might be on gravel. Any type of bike is fine, but beach cruisers tend to struggle at this pace. Of course, plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen. You must change your RSVP if you are not able to make it.

Important Stuff: HELMETS ARE REQUIRED. Ride at your own risk. Please consider your own abilities / preferences when participating, including making decisions about the weather. If the event needs to be cancelled due to weather, I will post here by 7am.

Pedals up 8:30am sharp. Please phone/text me if lost 203-722-9950.
