Welcome!
This is a group for anyone who loves to explore waterways. The trips are geared toward kayak enthusiasts. Camping and hiking are often involved in our events. Trips range from day, weekend and longer. All skill levels are welcome, though some trips may be limited to more advanced paddlers, please read descriptions carefully.
•High-quality inflatable kayaks are acceptable.
•Paddleboards are acceptable for some of our events.
Intex type blow up kayaks are not allowed.
•Adult paddlers only.
•Please include a picture of yourself in your profile so we can recognize you.
Drones will not be allowed on our events.
WAIVER,RELEASE,AND ASSUMPTION OF RISKS
I hereby waive, release and discharge the Meetup group Just Add Water Paddlers and it's leaders, organizers, members and participants from any and all claims for personal injury, illness, property damage or death resulting from my, and that of my guest(s), participation in any of the group's events. I acknowledge that the event has risks, and I assume these risks with the full understanding that injuries may result from my participation in any event. I intend this release to discharge the above named from any and all liability arising from or connected in any way with my participation in any event, even though that liability may result from the negligence or carelessness of the above named.
I certify that I am of sufficient physical condition to participate in this event, and that my equipment is in proper condition for use at the event.
I have read this waiver and release and fully understand its terms and agree that it shall be binding on my heirs and assigns. I consent to emergency transportation and care at my own expense if I become injured or ill.
GUESTS: My guest(s) have read this waiver, and have agreed to it. I accept full responsibility for my guest's safety and behavior.
My RSVP and/or participating in this event is my signature on this waiver for me and my guest(s).
The organizer of this trip is a Volunteer, not a leader.
Emergency contact information will be gathered before each event, so have phone numbers and names ready.

Everyone who attended last time had a blast and wanted to do it again!
•Learn fun and easy Contra Dance at the Irish Cultural Center in Phoenix.
•NO experience and NO partner is needed!
•Show up about 6:15 to pay $10 cash and visit before the free lesson.
•FREE lesson at 6:30 pm sharp. Dances start at 7 pm.
•There's a 'caller' and a live band.
•They teach each move and practice it a few times before starting each dance. There are seasoned/experienced and patient Contra dancers that will take the lead, making it super easy and fun to learn.
•Wear comfortable shoes and clothes.
•Soft soled, non-scuffing dance shoes are appropriate.
•Bringing your own water bottle is appreciated.
•Ladies, it's fun to wear "spinney" skirts or dresses.
•You WILL become very warm from the exercise, so dress for it.
•A lot of twirling and a lot of smiling will be done!
•Parking is somewhat limited, so try to carpool if you can or arrive early.

Pre-registration ends at 9 AM on the day of the dance...but you are still welcome to come dance with us!
