Warren Vella, Solutions Engineer, Confluent

Bio:
Warren Vella is obsessed with integration, which started off as a 13-year adventure at the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO), where he supported and architected critical energy market integration platforms. After moving from operations into enterprise architecture, he joined Confluent as a Solutions Engineer, helping customers solve their integration challenges.
Warren has worked on various platforms like API Gateways, ETLs, ESBs, Message Queues, iPaaS and Data Streaming Platforms. His mission? To educate the world on removing the bottleneck of integration.

A Symphony of SaaS

Abstract:
In the modern digital world, businesses are inundated with Software as a Service (SaaS) applications catering to diverse business needs. However, managing these disparate systems often leads to siloed data and fragmented workflows. In this talk, I will delve into why Kafka is a great choice to create a Symphony of SaaS applications. We explore how Kafka and Kafka Connect facilitate seamless integration of multiple SaaS applications, enabling real-time data flow, with streamlined governance.
