Karl Popper on the follies of Nationalism

Karl Popper was an avid advocate of open, plural societies and had strong views on Nationalism which he saw as an 'evil' responsible for much cruelty and violence and foolishness in the world. This session's discussion will be on why Popper saw Nationalism as such, and relate this to the international order and world we see today. As always, some material will be provided to stimulate discussion. I will aim to get the material out before the Meetup. And as per each Meetup, will head to the Civic Labour Club after the meet for a coffee/drink and continued discussion. Cheers, Todd
