Hike and Stargazing @ the Arboretum
Overland Park Arboretum , 8909 W. 179th St,, Overland Park , KS, USAccording to NASA, Comet Lemmon will be closest to Earth around October 21, 2025, also Orionid meteor shower, peaking October 21, is set to put on a spectacular show, shooting about 20 meteors per hour across the night sky.
Overland Park Arboretum & Botanical Gardens will open at night time for glow hike and stargzing. Astronomical Society of Kansas City will bring telescopes and Operation Wildlife will bring a live owl, all with regular Arboretum admission, $7 per adult, buy here.I'll do the 6:30 p.m. hike, which meet at Hilltop Terrace at LongHouse visitor center at 6:30 sharp.
