ArcGIS for Microsoft Office Presentation & Social

Details
We will be having a presentation by Anton Platz of Esri Canada demonstrating ArcGIS for Microsoft Office in Meeting Room 2 (upstairs at the top of the stairs) of the library.
Description:
ArcGIS for Microsoft Office brings mapping and spatial analysis tools into Excel and PowerPoint, allowing users to visualize and analyze location-based data directly within familiar Office applications. It helps uncover patterns, enhance presentations with interactive maps, and support better decision-making—all without leaving Excel or Teams.
Anton Platz has been a Technical Solutions Specialist for Esri Canada for two years, and has worked in GIS for six years. Anton's specialties are in ArcGIS Enterprise and Online, with a background in the forestry and oil and gas sectors.
From here, we have a 6:45 reservation at Central Kitchen + Bar, 1155 Ellis St. The reservation name is under Dianne/GoGeomatics. If you can't make the library part, you're still welcome to join for the pub social.
GoGeomatics is a networking event to welcome students, professionals, and academics in the field of geomatics in a casual environment.
Come out and have some drinks with other students, peers and professionals. This group is open to everyone in any geomatics-related field--GIS, surveying, remote sensing, photogrammetry, CAD, and more.
