Kilkenny Speakers, Toastmasters

Kilkenny Speakers one of 116,000 Toastmaster Clubs worldwide provides a safe, friendly and supportive place to develop your communication and leadership skills.
Listen to an introduction followed by one of our members giving a short 5 minute speech followed by a very supportive evaluation of that speech by another member who will point out where the speech was good and make one or two suggestions on enhancing the speech.
Then in the second part of the meeting there is a chance for everyone to practice their impromptu speaking skills. A series of wide ranging questions answered by volunteers in the audience giving unrehearsed responses. No pressure to take part but guests are always welcome to do so.
This part of the meeting is always fun.
Then tea and coffee for a friendly chat and chance to net work
