Photographing Your Young Child: A Hands-On Parent & Child Workshop
Join me for a fun, interactive and absolutely free, afternoon workshop, designed specifically for parents who want to learn how to capture beautiful, natural photos of their child.

With 20+ years of professional experience photographing children — in sports, modeling portfolios, schools, organizations, and private client sessions — I’m excited to share practical tips and techniques that will help you feel more confident behind the camera.

Whether you’re working with professional or semi-professional gear, you’ll learn simple ways to use light, movement, and play-based prompts to create expressive, authentic images of your child.
The goal is to keep things smooth, easy, and enjoyable for both you and your little one.

This session is held rain or shine. While we’re hoping for great weather, the workshop is designed so that conditions won’t affect the quality of what you learn or the results you can achieve.

To help everyone stay engaged, the workshop is set up for one parent and one child per pair. Please bring your own model/child — to participate. You may also invite your child’s friend and their parent if they’d like to participate.
A dedicated tween/teen workshop will be available soon. A future class specifically for photographing tweens and teens will be offered soon.

You’ll leave with new skills, helpful techniques, and a fun shared experience with your child.

If you don’t have children but are interested in learning how to photograph kids and families professionally, keep an eye on upcoming meetings — I’ll soon be offering a dedicated class for that.

P.S. If Thanksgiving makes the timing tricky for people to sign up, I might shift the session a few weeks later. I am just hoping to take advantage of the last fall colors for this session, and if you join, you’ll have some beautiful new photos of your child just in time for the holidays!
