Filipino Lunch - Wentworth Point, Sat 17 Jan, 12pm
Details
Our next foodie adventure takes us to a delicious Filipino lunch at Wentworth Point in Western Sydney.
If you've not yet had food from the Philippines but are curious about it, it's a great time to try it out in a safe and supportive space! Filipino food and this place in particular is delicious!!
We are looking to arrange attendees in groups of ~4 people so you can easily share dishes and so it is also easier to split the costs.
Let us know if you have any allergies or food preferences and we'll do our best to group people of similar preferences together - eg. meat lovers, dessert lovers, adventurous, etc.
For anyone interested in the banquet dish (aka what's called a filipino Boodle Fight), you'll need to ensure everyone in your group of 4 is up for it, and let me know at least 2 days beforehand so I can let the restaurant know to prepare for this (and also which boodle fight you want as they need notice for this specialty - see more details on this in the menu via Google Maps).
Rsvp to lock in your spot at a table.

Many Sydney Kitchen Catchup members often tell me when we get together over a shared meal or event, they always find that it's so great to have a space where they can chat with like-minded kitchen enthusiasts about food, cooking and/or baking for a few hours. And regardless of whether you're just starting out or are a professional chef, there is always something interesting to learn from the breadth of experience across this amazing group of people.
Looking forward to seeing you there! ☺️
Cheers,
Natia

> > safely discuss, cook and eat all types of foods from around the world,
> > be treated fairly, equally and with respect by all members, and
> > socialise & learn in an environment free from all forms of harassment and discrimination.
If you do not care for a certain ingredient, dish, cuisine or cooking technique, there is no issue with mentioning that you do not care for it; however, we ask that you avoid negative reactions (verbal or otherwise) that could make other members in the group feel uncomfortable.
Given the limited number of spots available at our events and as we often have a waitlist, we also have a zero-tolerance policy for no-shows. If you can't make it any longer to an event, update your RSVP so that someone else doesn't miss out.
Thanks for helping to keep our community amazing!
