Lunch Social & Sydney Festival Foodie Theatre, Sun 10 Jan, 12pm, Parramatta
Details
Sydney Festival has this intriguing foodie themed theatre event on in January. So, unsurprisingly, some of us kitchen enthusiasts wanted to check it out.
Feel free to join us for the show (you'll need to get you own tickets), lunch beforehand, and, for those keen to still continue, possibly some further chats about the show afterwards too.
Show : Haribo Kimchi
Link : https://www.sydneyfestival.org.au/events/haribo-kimchi
Show seats cost $49-55 each.
Synopsis : With the slice of a knife and the sizzle of a pan, South Korean theatremaker Jaha Koo invites audiences to a pojangmacha, a traditional late-night Korean street-food stall. As he prepares Korean classics live, screens, music, video projections and animations (featuring a robotic eel, a singing snail and a gummy bear) accompany and complement the story.
