Marmot Pass Day Hike

This is one of my favorite summer wildflower hikes. We’ll hike the Upper Big Quilcene Trail, starting in old growth forest, then ascending rocky slopes to beautiful subalpine meadows and mountain views. This hike is 11.5 miles with 3500 feet of elevation gain and is rated “Hard” by WTA. Bring your Ten Essentials, lunch, gas money for your driver, and your America the Beautiful or NW Forest Pass (even if you don’t plan on driving). Leashed dogs are welcome.
