Backpack Trip to where there is no fire

See the fall huckleberry colours and take a day off from civilisation.

Originally we were going to American Lake, but the explosive number of fires is now limiting us.

On the plate for consideration is Lake Platt at Exit 47, Heather Meadows on the Upper Dungeness.

NW Forest or Nat Park Access Pass required to park without getting parking ticket (Saw them gleefully making up for budget cuts my last trip).

I will decide around 4 pm on the 19th where we will get our best outing.
