Mount Kanetsukidō might be a small local mountain, but it boasts a stunning panoramic view of the Kantō Plain from its summit. The hiking trail is mostly shaded by Japanese oak trees, with a mix of both deciduous and evergreen varieties. Our route offers a less touristy experience, allowing for a truly comfortable and enjoyable walk beneath the lush green canopy. Why don't you join us for this lovely trek!
【Our Hiking Course】
Yorii Station → Mount Kanetsukidō → Tsuburata Pond → Hagure Station
●Outfit and Gear: Regular mountain wear and gear are suitable (no special equipment needed). However, we highly recommend wearing hiking boots to protect your ankles from potential sprains, as some sections of the trail can be steep and slippery.
●Meeting Point: Let's meet at the ticket gate of Yorii Station (寄居駅) at 9:30 AM.
●If the weather forcast is bad, the event will be postponed to next day, 25th, Sunday.
●Access from Tokyo: For those coming from Tokyo, please take the train from Ikebukuro Station departing at 8:00 AM. You will arrive at Yorii Station at 9:25 AM.
●Policy: This is a smoke-free event, please.
●Participation Fee: 500 yen
