Cantonese Parents Meetup #1

Hi! I'm Melissa - a Hong Kong girl living in Eagle Rock raising a daughter (13 month old) with a non-Chinese husband. I try to speak to my girl in Cantonese on the daily. But sometimes it feels like an uphill battle! Despite being born and raised in HK, I feel the limits of my Cantonese language skillz even speaking to a baby.

I'm interested in meeting other parents trying to instill some Canto language and culture in their homes - whether you are completely fluent and so are your kids, or speaking Cantonese to your child is more of an intention/hope than an actual reality :) Let's meet up and help bolster parenting in Cantonese! Share tips and Canto resources, and just normalize Cantonese for our kids.
