Join us for a nighttime session of Blood on the Clocktower on Saturday, January 10th from 6:30 PM to 11:30 PM at MEET TEA in Temple City. This is a social deduction game full of bluffing, teamwork, laughter, and dramatic reveals, perfect for both experienced players and newcomers who want to jump in and have fun.

For this event, we will be running two especially entertaining scripts: Extension Cord and Gobble Gobble Cluck. Extension Cord is known for its wild deduction chains, where Nodashi poisoning can stretch across the town and create confusion, clever plays, and lots of laughs. Gobble Gobble Cluck introduces the infamous Turkey minion, which forces a player each night to become a turkey and convincingly act like one throughout the following day phase, often causing absolute mayhem and unforgettable moments.

Doors open at 6:30 PM for socializing, and tokens will be handed out promptly at 7:00 PM, so please plan to arrive on time. I will be onsite starting at 5:30 PM getting set up and playing lighter board games with assistant organizers, including Monikers, Cockroach Poker, and Flip 7. Early arrivals are welcome to join.

As a courtesy to our host venue, each attendee is required to purchase at least one drink from MEET TEA during the event. There are also plenty of food options right next door, including Chipotle, Ono Hawaiian BBQ, and Banana Bay (Thai food).

Whether this is your first time playing or you’re a returning Clocktower regular, come ready for deduction, chaos, and a great night of social gaming. We can’t wait to play with you!

No-Show Policy
To ensure fairness and respect for all attendees, we have implemented the following No-Show Policy:

• If a participant fails to attend three or more events without prior notice, they will be suspended from all future events for 3 months.
• To avoid a no-show, please notify the organizer at least 24 hours in advance if you are unable to attend.
• Exceptions may be considered for emergencies, but consistent no-shows will result in enforcement of this policy.

Photo & Media Release Notice
By attending this event, you grant the event organizers and their affiliates the irrevocable, royalty-free, perpetual, and worldwide right to photograph, video record, and otherwise capture your likeness, voice, and image during the event.

Description:
Join us for a cozy, low-key Sunday morning meetup for folks from our board-game community who want to connect beyond the game table. Think friendly conversation, a few thoughtful prompts, and a chance to get to know each other a bit more—without any pressure.

While we do enjoy deeper conversations, this meetup is meant to stay casual and uplifting. It’s not a structured support group or group therapy, and we’re not expecting anyone to share anything heavy or deeply personal. If it’s your first time, you can absolutely keep it simple—come say hi, jump into a game, and ease into the conversation at your own pace.

We’ll kick things off with light icebreakers and conversation starters like Monikers, We’re Not Really Strangers, The { } And, and other easy social games. No long, intense strategy games—just something fun that helps spark laughs, curiosity, and a few meaningful moments.

Afterwards, we’ll move into open-ended conversation prompts similar to the style from previous events, such as:

• Why is the Earth round?
• Is the color red a good thing?
• Should you ever tell secrets to your co-workers?
• What makes someone truly interesting?
• If you could relive one ordinary day, which one would it be?

Expect good coffee, friendly people, and meaningful conversations that make early Sunday mornings something to look forward to.

Respect & Conduct (read carefully)
All attendees are expected to treat others, the venue, and game components with respect. That means: no abusive language, no physical aggression, no intentional damage to games or personal property, and no major behavioral disruptions that interfere with other people’s ability to enjoy the event.

If you damage someone’s game pieces, equipment, or personal property, or if you cause a major behavioral disruption, you will be banned from future events. There are no exceptions for repeated offenses — damage or major disruption = banned.
