Saxophonist and composer Kamazi Washington was a regular at the World State and the Central Avenue Jazz Festival for years before international fame through his collaboration with Kendrick Lamar and his hit album "The Epic". Come see him on New Year's Eve at a small cozy venue for a meager $20 (pay at the door - no pre-sale). I suggest you get there early.
