**Meet “GINO”!**
 
Janet, also known as “Gino,” developed a deep love for cooking traditional Southern African foods while watching her family's adults prepare meals. 
Growing up in a simple yet rich village lifestyle, it inspired her passion for food and creativity in the kitchen.
She fondly remembers her grandmother baking fresh scones and cooking sorghum meal and some chicken stew in a three-legged clay pot over an open fire; these experiences shaped her appreciation for authentic homemade cooking.

After living in the United States for many years, Janet was introduced to a variety of cultures and cuisines from around the world. This exposure inspired her to blend different flavors, spices, and cooking styles, drawing on her own creativity and imagination. 
Although not a professional chef, she believes cooking is an art driven by passion, imagination, common sense, and the courage to experiment. From this vision, “Gino’s Creative Cooking” was born — a celebration of culture, flavor, and creativity brought together in every dish.

Janet’s goal is to continue building this tradition by bringing authentic homemade recipes directly to your kitchen. Through Gino’s Creative Cooking, she offers weekly meal preparation, catering for family gatherings, small parties, and special weekend treats. For those who would like to experience “Gino’s touch” firsthand, she also offers private cooking classes in which she shares her unique techniques, flavors, and love of creative cooking.
