Hairspray at The Gem

Join us for Hairspray at The Gem. We will have group tickets available for sale - $40 regular admission, $30 seniors age 62 and older. Sign up if interested, and we will notify you when we start selling tickets in February.

We will hand out your ticket at dinner before the play or meet you in front of the theatre. Dinner plans to be announced closer to the date of the show.

From the moment the curtain rises, you’ll be swept into the electrifying world of 1960s Baltimore, where dance floors are alive, the music is non-stop, and change is in the air as dance-loving teen Tracy Turnblad auditions for a spot on "The Corny Collins Show" and wins, becoming an overnight celebrity. With her newfound influence, she advocates for racial integration on the television show and proves that perseverance and believing in yourself does make a difference. Bold, vibrant, and bursting with heart-pounding choreography, powerhouse vocals, and feverish fun, Hairspray will have you dancing in your seat and cheering in the aisles.

Members who RSVP "Yes" for an event need to change their RSVP to "No" ​if their plans change and they cannot attend the event​ at least 48 hours in advance. If you need to cancel within less than 24 hours, please contact the host with an explanation.
***Member who has 3 no show​s​, cancel on the same day, or "no show" without an explanation will be removed from the group. ***
