Girls on Fire at 7:00, optional dinner before

On Saturday June 6, Girls on Fire & Dykotomy kick off the month of Gay Pride with "kick-ass crowd-pleasing sing-out-loud songs to celebrate the best hits of LGBTQ community." The band plays 7:00-8:45 at Freddy's, a dive bar at 627 Fifth Ave in Gowanus/South Slope in Brooklyn. No cover charge, no drink minimum.

But first, for those who want to, we'll meet at 5:30 at nearby Mariella for an early dinner. It's a "farm-fresh Italian" restaurant seven blocks from Freddy's at 492 Sixth Ave at 12th St. I made a reservation for 6, including me, so this part will be limited to the first 5 other members of LAFF (sorry, no +1s) who respond.

(No limit on # of LAFFers at Freddy's.)
Caveat: I've never heard the band and never tried the restaurant!
