Gong and Song

Join Viveka and special guest Josh Jaffe for an empowering song circle and deeply nourishing gong bath. Josh uses several gongs in a subtle but profound way to move energy and create space within; he started playing gongs in 2014. This unique event will utilize at least four different gongs and the unique and beautiful voices of all present to amplify intentions of harmony, joy, truth, and peace.

Josh will start us off with a 20 minute gong bath, leading us through the sonic portal to the realm of song. Ride on the waves of vibration and be moved to authentic expression, for then Viveka will gently guide us to sit upright and access our breath support for easeful vocalizing. She will then lead us in sweet simple songs in “call and echo” style. These empowering songs will stir a story of oneness and magic, lifting our moods and opening our hearts. Lyric booklets will be provided so all may sing along, and instruments are welcome, as well as absolute beginners to singing. The song storm will then swell and settle back to stillness, making way for the return of the gong sound portal sending us back to solid ground.
The gong is a beautiful instrument for regulating the body and for completing energetic cycles. Join us for this unique and powerful gathering!
