The Lamplight Book Club is an expertly-guided, deep dive, fun, read-a-long book club

At our next meeting, we'll be discussing the second section of A Gentleman in Moscow, up to page 167. We'll discuss the new friends and allies Count Rostov makes in the hotel where he is under house arrest, his secret rooms, internal and external, and how though limited to the hotel, he expands his horizons. We'll meet Anna, the actress who becomes dear to him, and discuss his 'celebration' with his friend Mischka, of the first year of his confinement. We'll also continue to talk a little history. We meet twice monthly on the first and third Wednesday at 6:30-8p at Tabor Space on SE Belmont. Your first meeting is free. Regular membership is $40 monthly to help pay for meeting space and materials. To learn more, you can read about our group description on meetup or go the our website. Whether you are an avid reader, or simply love thoughtful conversation, this is a space to explore some great books, connect with the joy of reading, and meet other readers. Come join us in the lamplight.
