C/D Ride - WET Three Earls (Short) (33R) - Guest club is Velo City from B’more

Update - The current weather forecast is a chance of rain. That said, we are still planning to host this ride for anyone who wants to brave the weather. We will also still serve food at the end of the ride under a covered pavilion. This update will be revised on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, so check back.

We’ll be hosting the Velo City Riders Cycling Club from Greater Baltimore for a lovely jaunt through bucolic West, Central and East Earl Townships of Lancaster County, featuring creeks, rivers, and Mennonite and Amish farmsteads. A shorter and less hilly version of the Three Earls Long, it's still a great mix of flat and rolling terrain. You won't see many cars on this route!

The ride will be followed by a cookout/picnic at West Earl Township Bldg Park. If you plan to stay for the picnic, please complete this GSheet sign-up form.

This is an Intermediate level ride. The ride leader will ride at the advertised average speed. This is intended to be a group ride with a no-drop rule as the main goal. The ride leader will do his best to keep the group together with occasional regroupings and a sweeper may also be appointed at the start.

Please do not join this ride if you are not willing to stick with the group. If maintaining a 13-16 mph average is beyond your current ability level, please consider joining a beginners ride first.

Helmets are mandatory. No earbuds. Please bring water and a basic repair kit (spare tube, tire levers, pump/CO2 inflator).
