Impromptu - Jan's 1/2 birthday ride - Tobacco Roads Long+ (~30R)

Please do not join this ride if you are not willing or able to stick with the group. Ride leader will ride at the advertised average speed. This is intended to be a group ride. There is sometimes, but not always, a sweep.

Terre Hill Community Park has well maintained restrooms that are usually open. There is also a well-equipped bike repair station at this park!

I want to get this ride in before all the beautiful tobacco has been harvested.

We will do a ~2 mile mid-ride add-on at about mile 17.7 to stop for Penny's hand dipped ice cream (I've been told it is Penny's but I have not personally confirmed that) at the Cedar Creek Farm Market.

Jan will bring half-brithday cake to share with ya'll after the ride at the pavillion in the park. Please BYO beverage to enjoy with the cake.

Helmets are mandatory. No earbuds. Please bring water and a basic repair kit (spare tube, tire levers, pump/CO2 inflator).

To eliminate passing around a pen and paper waiver, we require LBC Club membership and Meetup RSVP to join this ride. Being on Meetup does not mean you are a club member.
