Hello there! We are an in-person Buddhist Meditation group. We hold weekly classes, guided meditations and courses at our Meditation Centre at 93 King Street in Lancaster city centre. We cover topics such as inner peace, overcoming anxiety, love and relationships, dealing with depression, mindfulness etc. Everyone is welcome in our meet-up group, no prior experience of meditation is necessary. We're looking forward to meeting you soon!
All our classes and courses do go ahead even if noone is booked to attend, as some people just drop-in on the day or find out directly through our website or posters.

Meditation Classes
with Kadam Rosy McDanielMondays 7 - 8.15pm 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 September
On this course we will look at the benefits of meditation and learn some simple meditation techniques which help us to keep a clear head and a happy mind. As our mental peace increases we will find life’s difficulties easier to manage and learn how to keep a positive feeling even when things are challenging in our life.
These classes are open to everyone, no experience is necessary.
Each class is self-contained so you can drop-in at any time and find out what meditation is all about Each class begins with a guided breathing meditation to help settle the mind, let go of distractions and cultivate inner peace. There will then be a short talk on meditation, its functions and benefits. The class concludes with a second guided meditation giving us an opportunity to become familiar with meditation and take some time to contemplate the new ideas that we have learnt.For more information please see https://meditationinlancaster.org/whats-on/events/
