History lovers! We appreciate you! Let us convene for a talk and walk on the history of downtown Las Vegas. We share a similar passion … to relive and revive the history of this incredible city. From ‘cruising the donut’ of Fremont (and I’m not talking Pink Donut, to reminiscing on 15 year old Wayne Newton playing at Fremont). Let’s meet for a walking tour and chat about it!

Join us in celebrating Where Las Vegas Began
Celebrate the 170th anniversary of the arrival of first pioneer missionaries who established the original fort. Built in 1855, this park includes the historic remains of an adobe fort along with a visitor center. There will be special recognition of direct descendants. Flag raising ceremony to begin the festivities. Numerous pioneer crafts and games. Several booths staffed by organizations to celebrate the event and provide community information.
