Come talk sewing with us. No machine, no project, and no experience required.
This is a relaxed sit-and-chat meetup, not a sewing session. We gather to talk shop, swap ideas, and cheer each other on. Whether you've been sewing for decades or just bought your first pattern yesterday, you belong here.
This month's theme: Pockets
Bring your questions and ideas on types of pockets, how to make them, and sewing techniques. Don't sew pockets? Come anyway. Questions are welcome at every skill level.
We're a small, casual group (usually just a handful of people), which makes it a comfortable place to show up if you're a little shy or just feeling your way in.
When you arrive, look for our sign on the table. Introductions are relaxed and low-key, and you're welcome to just listen if that's what feels right.
What to bring is completely optional: a project you're working on, a sewing book you love, a question you've been stuck on, or nothing at all. Show-and-tell is always welcome, but just showing up is more than enough.
