Porcupine search in the bosque

Forget shopping this Black Friday, let's search for porcupines in the bosque! Working together, how many can we spot?!

As usual, we'll be going slow and easy, looking for porcupines in the trees and marveling at all the other cool animals and plants of the bosque. We'll probably also spot some sandhill cranes and beaver signs.

This will be a roughly 3-4 mile loop starting from the trailhead behind Sagebrush and heading south to Montano. The path will be flat and can get extremely muddy if we've been seeing snow or rain.

Let's leave the dogs at home for this one and focus on the local wildlife. Binoculars are always a plus!
