This is the final week in our Daring Greatly series of LeaderImpact Next*.
For this final meeting we'll be at the Lighthouse Café.
Meeting Rules
- Be on time. We strive to start at 6pm and finish at 7pm.
- Be prepared. Check the Participant Guide for the required reading and discussion questions. The more prepared you come, the more you and the others will benefit from our time together.
Week 10
CHAPTER 7: WHOLEHEARTED PARENTING: DARING TO BE THE ADULTS WE
WANT OUR CHILDREN TO BE/FINAL THOUGHTS
Brown uses this final chapter on parenting to solidify her points and research. We all have experience with the effects of shame in parenting; we have been parented, or we are a parent, or both. Brown makes the case that we cannot lead someone to a place we have never been. Whether as a parent or as a leader in another field, this is a great leadership truth. We must work to become the leaders that we want others to become.
