Welcome to Learn How to Surf in San Diego , where surfers and aspiring surfers come together for social gatherings and surf trainings in town!
What to Expect: Join us for a terrific time as we explore various surf spots around San Diego with the guidance and expertise of our organizers who are lifelong surfers but most importantly fun, welcoming and like-minded individuals. Here's what you can anticipate at our surf meetups:
- Surf Bliss: Dive into the world of surfing and explore the many local surf spots in San Diego and beyond with a diverse range of waves and local travel experiences you will love!!
- Engaging Conversations: Strike up conversations, meet new surf buddies, make new friends, and spill the tea on your latest life experiences, hobbies, and interests.
- Inclusive and Low-Commitment: We understand that life can be busy, so our meetups are low-commitment and open to everyone, whether you can attend every event or drop in occasionally. Our aim is to create an inclusive environment where all are welcome.
- Discover San Diego Surf: San Diego is known in the surf world for its variety of surf spots. Explore your city's beaches and waves with fellow enthusiasts and get recommendations for the best equipment for your skill level as well as how to find great deals.

Join us for a bonfire, a Taco Tuesday night, a music concert, a local surf trip or jin any of our surf training programs.Let's create lasting memories over sharing the ocean and the waves and their healing properties while getting to know the amazing people in our community.

- Clean popup without using knee or one-two step
- Ability to ride 90% of inside/white wash/broken waves
If you still don’t have an efficient popup it’s recommended you take the beginners white wash session. Not having a clean popup will hinder your ability to drop in Open Face WavesWhat you will learn
