It is here that we follow the scenic canal up to Selby,it will be on this section that we will stop for a picnic lunch, so do not forget bring your grub.
After passing through Selby we take the old rail track which takes us up to York, where we will stop at one of the riverside inns for some well earned refreshments

Estimated Distance: 50 mile

Estimated Ride Duration: 6 hours

Ride Grading: Red this is mainly due to the distance

Technical / Physical Difficulty: Flat all the way, so very easy pedaling but a good level of fitness required due to the distance

This is a lovely pleasant scenic route, which makes for a very good days riding.
