Time: Meet from 09:45 for a 10:00 start.
Place: Station Road, near Wilsden, Bradford, BD15 0BS.

Route Description: The route consists mainly of bridleways, moorland tracks and small or quiet roads.
We start at the beginning of the Great Northern Railway heading across Hewenden viaduct, towards Harden moor , Down to st Ives. we join the Leeds Liverpool canal at bingley heading to East Morton. Over the moor towards Slisden . we enter riverstock plantation before dropping down back to the canal towards west Morton and along the canal to the five rise locks were we have a chance to stop for refreshments . On the return leg we go into black hills then around wilsden hill back to the start point. Good views and approx height gain 2300ft.

Distance: 21 miles (tbc approx.) but can be cut short if required.
Estimated Duration; 4 to 5 hours (including stops).
Suitable For: Mountain bikes only.
Physical Difficulty: RED (Difficult) - 21miles and >2300ft of total ascent, so a very good level of fitness is required.
Technical Difficulty: RED (Difficult) - some steep rocky descents and technical sections.
Recommendations: Spare Tube, Tools, Pump, Food, Energy Bars, Water.
Safety: No Helmet = No Ride!
