What we’re about
LeedsAcro combines Partner Acrobatics, Acro Yoga and Acro Balance to create fun events for connecting you with others interested in this circus inspired practice.
"Acro" is a physical movement practice which combines elements of dance, yoga, acrobatics and bodyweight training in creative and playful ways.
This group will share upcoming classes and open training events to help you develop the skills and strength required for various areas of acro. With a focus on teamwork, LeedsAcro aims to build confidence, trust and communication through partnered movement amongst friends and strangers. Come along to any of our events solo or with friends and learn how to safely spot, base, and fly!
This group is run by Scarlot Robinson, a qualified Partner Acrobatics teacher specialising in standing acrobatics and Icarian. She enjoys tailoring workshops to suit different environments and levels, she is available for private coaching, regular group sessions, conventions and festivals.
Scarlot completed a 175 hour Teacher Training with Partner Acrobatics in 2022 and has been attending workshops to inform her personal and professional practice since 2019.

Welcome to the new LeedsAcro foundations class.
Booking required: LeedsAcroIn this series, we'll be covering the fundamentals of partner acrobatics, also known as acroyoga or partner balance. These sessions will be a playful mixture of pair and small group work, and aim to build understanding, confidence and trust amongst all participants.
The sessions are tailored to suit a variety of levels from complete beginner to experienced practitioners. We'll organise groups by experience level so that beginner students learn each move from scratch covering technique for bases, flyers and spotters and ensure everyone feels safe and comfortable exploring new movement patterns. And for those with an existing acro practice, we'll work on calibration, drills, expanding your skill range and reducing the need for spotting.
These classes are intended for beginners (no previous experience necessary) and for those more experienced who are looking to meet pre-reqs for other events such as levelling-up workshops, guest teacher sessions or conventions.
