The rainbow is back, and it’s about to light up Abbey Park in the biggest, boldest way. Leicester Pride 2025 is here, and we’re planning to throw ourselves right into the middle of it.
Imagine it: the parade rolling through the city in a blur of glitter, sequins and pure joy. Music thumping, people laughing, and a whole park buzzing with energy. That’s where we’ll be, together, enjoying every moment.
We can meet near the park, so no one has to turn up alone. Look out for some familiar smiles and a flash of rainbow, then we’ll head in as a group. But if your late and dont mind finding people, no biggie! From there, it’s all about soaking up the day dancing by the main stage, cheering on the drag queens, grabbing food when we’re hungry, and just seeing where the fun takes us. When the sun goes down, Leicester doesn’t quiet down either, so there’s every chance we’ll roll on into town for a few drinks and keep the night alive.
This isn’t about standing on the sidelines. It’s about being part of the celebration. Whether you’re LGBTQ+, you support it, or just curious to see what Pride is all about, you’re welcome to join. Come as you are, wear whatever makes you feel good, and bring the energy that turns a day out into a day to remember.
