FRENSHAM GREAT POND CIRCULAR HIKE & OPTIONAL SWIM 🌿
Join us for a Frensham Hike on Sunday, June 14th 2026!
The Frensham Great Pond Circular is one of Surrey's most beautiful walks, taking us through woodland, heathland, sandy trails and around the stunning Frensham Great Pond.
We'll meet at London Waterloo Station at 10:00am.
🚆 Train Details
We'll be taking the 10:36 train from London Waterloo to Farnham.
The train journey takes approximately 1 hour 30 min.
Please book a ticket for that specific train and choose an open return for the same day.

📍 Meeting Point
Outside WHSmith inside London Waterloo Station, next to the main departure boards.
If you prefer, you're welcome to meet us directly at Farnham Station.
🥾 Hike Details
🟠 Difficulty: Moderate
📏 Distance: Approximately 10km (6 miles)
⏱ Walking Time: Approximately 2.5 to 3 hours excluding breaks
🌿 Terrain: Woodland paths, sandy trails, heathland and lakeside paths
This is a moderate, beginner-friendly hike, perfect for a easy introduction to hiking and making new friends.
Expect scenic views, great conversation and a relaxed pace.
For anyone feeling brave, there will be the option of a swim at Frensham Great Pond after the hike.
🍴 Food & Facilities
There is a small café near the pond where you can buy food, drinks and snacks.
You are also welcome to bring your own packed lunch or snacks.
🎒 What To Bring
• Comfortable walking shoes or hiking boots
• Weather-appropriate clothing
• Water
• Snacks or packed lunch
• Swimwear and a towel if you'd like to swim
• A fully charged phone
• A power bank (if needed)
• Any personal medication you may need during the day
🕔 Expected Return
After the hike we'll take the bus back to Farnham Station and catch the train back to London.
We expect to be back in London at approximately 5:00pm.
⚠️ A Few Sensible Things
Please make sure you're comfortable walking approximately 10km at a moderate pace.
The route includes uneven ground, sandy paths and woodland trails, so suitable footwear is recommended.
Please check the weather forecast before travelling and dress appropriately.

Most of us are simply people who enjoy getting outdoors, building healthy habits, meeting new people and discovering new places.
We're all learning as we go and supporting each other along the way.
