Local Walk - North Crawley & Cranfield Loop, 10 miles, walk leader Ray
Details
Please park considerately around North Crawley village and meet on the High Street in front of St Firmins Church (on the tarmac’d area next to the former – I think – Cock pub), ready to start walking promptly at 10.30am. In the morning we will head Eastwards towards Bourne End village, looping round to end up at the large village of Cranfield for lunch. We’ll have our lunch in or around Cranfield, before heading to one of the pubs in the village for a quick drink. There probably won’t be time to buy food from the pub, so please bring a packed lunch with you.
In the afternoon we will start out from the pub and firstly to do a half-lap of the airfield runway, into the University area, before heading back to North Crawley.
The walk should be around 10 miles long, split between 5.5 miles in the morning and 4.5 miles for the afternoon.
