Chubb and Castlewood Loop Trails

Let's hike the Chubb and Castlewood Loop trails.

Meet at the Chubb Trailhead at 4:00 PM, hike at 4:05 PM.

HOW TO FIND US: To find the Chubb Trail parking lot, take the road that's to the RIGHT of the Lone Elk Park entrance. Do not enter Lone Elk park.

Sunset is at 6:32 pm.

Distance/Pace: Combining the two trails, the length is approximately 4-5 miles. Average pace is 2.5-3 MPH. We should complete this hike in about 2 hours.

BRING: Plenty of water for yourself, bug spray in season, wear hiking shoes or sturdy tennis shoes, dress for the weather, hiking poles in season.
