What we’re about
Do you live in or around Leuven, BE and want to find people to practice languages with ? Or just make new friends ?
Leuven Language Buddies is for everyone who wants to practice a language in a cozy setting. What do we mean with cozy? See it like hanging around with your friends, but then in another language. We are sure you will enjoy it this way.
This group is the Meetup version of LLB that can be found on Facebook. We wish to organise tables for as many languages as possible. Don't find the language you're looking for ? Want to organise your own conversation table ? Send a message to an organiser !

Here’s what’s on our path:From the Gent station we’ll hop on a bus to our first stop.
Sint-Baafsabdij. Wander through medieval ruins and the poetic “Green Church” garden.
Opera van Gent – step inside the 19th-century opera house before it closes for major renovations. A rare chance to admire its grand halls and chandeliers.
Lunch – no need to pack food, we’ll enjoy a cozy meal together in a moderately priced restaurant.
Havenhuis on the Graslei – once the guild house of the boatmen, now a window into Ghent’s harbor history, open only on this special day.
Join us for the whole adventure, or just for part of the day. You’re always free to explore Ghent on your own or head back whenever you feel like it.
