SongFarmers of Lexington KY - American Legion Post 8 Wed 23 July 6:30 - 8:00 pm

Lexington and surrounding area musicians, singers and listeners ... are invited to join our SongFarmers of Lexington KY jam Wednesday, July 23, 2025 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm in the lower level of American Legion Post 8, 1230 Man O War Place, Lexington, KY 40504. We encourage you to become a member of "SongFarmers of America". View the "RFD-TV broadcast - SongFarmers: Building a Front Porch 'round the World" to learn about SongFarmers early beginnings to today.
We will be playing and singing a variety of Americana and Kentucky-related songs. Lyrics and words will be available. Bring your instrument(s) and/or voice, a folder or binder, pencil or pen to make notes, and a music stand if you have one.
Please sign in when you enter the building. You are welcome to purchase a beverage at the bar. Then come downstairs to tune-up and join in learning and singing a number of old-favorites and new tunes.
Over the past few months we have been holding community jams at Lexington Public Library - including Marksbury, Northside, and Tates Creek branch libraries.
