Join HOL, GoDaddy, and the Hiero community for a technical workshop on new draft specifications for verifiable AI agent identity. The session will introduce Universal Agent ID (UAID / HCS-14), the new ANS profile for DNS-based agent discovery, and HCS-27, a draft standard for publishing Merkle tree checkpoints from transparency logs to Hiero Consensus Service. Attendees will learn how ANS agents can remain rooted in DNS while becoming easier to resolve across ecosystems, and how registry history can be independently verified over time using public checkpoint commitments.

Quantum computing is no longer a distant threat. Improvements in hardware design, new algorithmic breakthroughs, and expert surveys now put a cryptographically-relevant quantum computer sooner than the industry is prepared for. Elliptic curve signatures and key exchange, RSA, and many ZK proof systems are vulnerable, where they underpin not just blockchains, but financial infrastructure, identity systems, enterprise software, and the internet itself.

However, the industry isn't standing still. In this workshop, Zain Cheng (CTO, Horizen Labs) and Tommaso Gagliardoni (Cryptography Research Manager, Horizen Labs) will give the LFDT community a comprehensive look at where the quantum migration stands today across blockchain ecosystems, traditional finance, government, and enterprise, and what you can do to prepare regardless of the stack you're building on.

The Threat Landscape: What quantum computers actually break, and what they don't. Shor's algorithm and elliptic curve cryptography. Grover's algorithm and symmetric/hash security. Why "harvest now, decrypt later" attacks make this urgent right now.
